Terra Cotta lives in the space between blonde and brunette — exactly where most of our clients live. Honey balayage, caramel highlights, warm mèches through brunette hair, chestnut colour that's faded flat. This mask deposits a warm, Mediterranean-sourced pigment that reads as depth and warmth, not brassiness.
Like the rest of the Cromearth line, this is a semi-permanent treatment that fades out completely after about 6 washes. Rica suggests one application per week with a 10 to 20 minute processing time.

Wear gloves and apply with a brush, distributing evenly and combing through to the ends. For very light honey blonde, check the result around the 10-minute mark before deciding whether to leave it longer, as the pigment can read warmer on lighter hair.
Not the Right Fit If...
If your base is very dark brown or black, the pigment deposit from Terra Cotta likely won't be visible. For deep brunette wanting warmth and shine, the RICA Cromearth Burnt Umber Mask is better suited. If your hair is light blonde and you want a golden boost rather than warm-brown depth, the RICA Cromearth Yellow Ocher Mask is the better choice.
How To Use
- Shampoo and towel-dry.
- Wear gloves. Apply with a brush, distributing evenly and combing through to the ends.
- Leave on 10–20 minutes depending on desired depth and warmth.
- Emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.
- Note that the colour deposit fades out completely after about 6 washes.
