A yellow-pigmented Cromearth mask that revives and illuminates blonde highlights, delivering a brighter, warmer, more luminous finish without adding orange or red tones.
The Moda Team Review
Yellow Ocher is the mask for when blonde has gone flat rather than brassy. This mask adds back golden luminosity that makes blonde look alive — the difference between freshly highlighted and washed out.
Like the rest of the Cromearth range, the pigment is sourced from Mediterranean fruit and plant extracts and is semi-permanent, fading out completely after about 6 washes. Rica recommends a 10 to 20 minute processing time, with one application per week.
Why Moda Carries This
The Cromearth range covers the full spectrum of colour refresh needs, and Yellow Ocher fills the gap that most toning product lines ignore: clients who need to add warmth or brightness to blonde, not neutralise it. We use this at the backbar when a client's highlights have faded and need a quick refresh before their next colour appointment.
Key Active Ingredients
-
Mediterranean Natural Pigments: Apple extract, Lemon peel extract, Grape skin extract, and Gardenia fruit extract deposit warm, golden tone to revive and illuminate faded blonde highlights.
-
Vegetable Keratin: Wheat and soy amino acids that increase strength and elasticity, support shine, and improve combability.
Moda Pro Tip
Wear gloves and apply with a brush, distributing evenly and combing through to the ends. Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes depending on desired warmth and luminosity, then emulsify and rinse thoroughly.
Not the Right Fit If...
If your hair is already warm or brassy, this will add more warmth — not what you want. Reach for the RICA Cromearth Earth Moon Mask to cool things down instead. Also not the right fit if you have ashy brown hair wanting golden reflects — the RICA Cromearth Terra Cotta Mask is better suited for darker bases.
How To Use
- Shampoo and towel-dry.
- Wear gloves. Apply with a brush from mid-lengths to ends, combing through evenly.
- Leave on 10–20 minutes depending on desired warmth.
- Emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.
- Note that the colour deposit fades out completely after about 6 washes.
