Ask ModaI have fine hair and every conditioner I try makes it flat. Why would Plumping Rinse be different?
Yes — if you apply correctly. The key is mid-lengths to ends only — never at the root — and rinsing with cool water. The Rice Amino Acids actually expand the shaft for thickness rather than adding slip. Most conditioner flatness comes from root application, not the formula itself.
Do I need both Plumping Wash and Plumping Rinse or can I just use one?
Both. The Wash builds density at the follicle and scalp. The Rinse continues that scalp work and expands the shaft on the lengths. Using only one leaves results on the table — the regimen is designed to work as a pair, and the cumulative results are meaningfully better when both steps are in place.
My ends are bleached and quite dry. Is Plumping Rinse enough moisture for them?
No, not if your ends are significantly compromised from lightening. Plumping Rinse is built for density and volume, not intensive repair. For bleached, dry ends, alternate with Hydrate Me Rinse a few times a week, or add a weekly mask. You can keep Plumping Wash in the routine alongside this.
How is the 40ml different from the 250ml other than size — same formula?
Yes, identical formula. The 40ml is a travel size and a useful way to try the product before committing to the 250ml. The 250ml lasts most clients 6 to 8 weeks with daily use on mid-lengths and ends. The 1000ml is the pro litre for best value when you know you love it.
I just had a bond-building treatment at the salon. Should I wait before starting Plumping Rinse?
No need to wait. Plumping Rinse works on shaft diameter and scalp support — it does not interfere with bond-building treatments. If anything, keeping moisture in the lengths with a conditioner after bonding services helps maintain the treatment results. Ask your stylist at Moda if you want a specific recommendation for your service.
