A colour-depositing conditioner that refreshes platinum blonde tone, neutralises brassiness and leaves hair soft and glossy — all in the time it takes to condition.
The Moda Team Review
This one is for the client who leaves the salon with perfect, icy platinum blonde and then watches it shift warmer every week until colour day. Fabuloso Platinum Blonde sits in that gap between appointments — it is not a replacement for professional colour, but it is the difference between hair that looks maintained and hair that looks grown out.
The formula deposits cool, violet-adjacent pigment directly onto the hair shaft with each wash, which means you control how much tone you add based on how long you leave it. Leave it for two minutes and you get a light refresh. Leave it longer and you push the tone deeper. We always tell clients to start short and build — porous, heavily lightened hair grabs faster than you expect, and it is much easier to add more next wash than to rinse out an overcorrection.
What we appreciate about Fabuloso over a standard toning shampoo is that it conditions at the same time. The hair does not come out feeling stripped or dull — it feels soft, the cuticle lies flat, and the tone looks glossy rather than matte. For the client who is already using a purple shampoo and still feels like the colour fades too fast, Fabuloso is the upgrade worth making.
Why Moda Carries This
EVO built Fabuloso on a simple premise: tone maintenance should be part of your conditioning routine, not a separate step that requires gloves, a timer and a prayer. The formula is highly concentrated, which means a small amount goes a long way — consistent with the brand's philosophy of professional-grade results without unnecessary filler. We carry it because it actually works for the blonde clients we see most, and because it gives them real control over their colour between the visits we book them for.
Key Active Ingredient(s)
-
Direct dye pigments (violet/cool tone): Deposit colour onto the surface of the hair cuticle with each application. Intensity is time-dependent — longer processing equals more visible tone shift.
-
Conditioning agents: Smooth the cuticle and add softness during processing so hair does not feel stripped or dry after toning.
Moda Pro Tip
Section your hair and apply Fabuloso to dry or slightly damp hair before you step into the shower — the pigment grabs more evenly and more intensely without water diluting it. Let it sit while you wash your face or shave, then rinse when you are ready. This is how we get the most consistent tone result with the least product.
Not the Right Fit If...
This is not the right choice if your hair is naturally dark or has significant warm regrowth — the pigment will not lift underlying tone, and the colour deposit will not show on unbleached hair. If your hair is platinum but extremely damaged and over-porous, start with a 60-second rinse first to gauge how fast it grabs. And if you are looking for something lighter in commitment, the EVO Platinum Blonde Toning Mist gives a gentler, leave-in version of the same effect.
How To Use
- Shampoo as normal and squeeze out excess water.
- Apply Fabuloso evenly through mid-lengths and ends — or wherever you want tone refresh.
- Leave for 2–5 minutes depending on how much tone you want (start short on your first use).
- Rinse thoroughly. Use gloves if your hands are light or you are working with a full-head application.
