How to use

- Massage the Shampoo through wet hair, leave 1–3 minutes to tone, and rinse.

Yes, you save — the duo is priced 15% below the cost of buying the 1000ml toning Shampoo and 1000ml Conditioner on their own. You get both full litre bottles of the same violet formulas, bundled at a better value. It's the most economical way to keep blonde or grey hair cool and brass-free long-term.
Will the violet pigment over-tone my hair grey or purple?
No — not if you control the timing. Over-toning happens when violet is left on too long, especially on very pale or porous blonde. Start with a 1-minute contact time, rinse, and check; build up only if you need more. Used once or twice a week with a non-toning wash in between, it keeps blonde cool without a grey or lilac cast.
Can I use the toning duo every single wash?
No — once or twice a week is plenty for most blonde. Daily violet toning can build up and over-cool the hair over time. Use the Sheer Silver duo as your toning wash a couple of times a week, and a gentle non-toning shampoo (or a colour-care range like Luminous Colour) in between. That keeps the tone balanced and the hair healthy.
Does the conditioner tone too, or just the shampoo?
Yes — both are violet-pigmented, so you tone at the wash and the condition step. That's an advantage of the duo over a toning shampoo alone: the second deposit evens out the tone and the conditioner's blackberry extract offsets dryness. On very porous ends, the conditioner also helps the colour grip more evenly than shampoo on its own.
Does it need pumps, and are they included?
No — pumps aren't included with this duo as standard. The litre bottles have a standard flip cap. Wear gloves or rinse hands promptly, as violet pigment can temporarily tint skin and nails. If you'd like Maria Nila litre pumps for easier dispensing, add them separately — one fits each bottle.
