If you want hair benefits alongside the OLAPLEX scent, the °7 Shine Serum Oil Mist delivers both: the same signature fragrance plus shine, hydration, and heat protection to 450°F. The Signature Hair & Body Mist is for clients who want the scent as a finishing and refresh step separate from their treatment routine.
What does the OLAPLEX signature scent smell like?
Grapefruit zest at the top — a crisp, bright citrus that opens with immediate freshness. Sugared mint and ginger in the heart — clean and cool with a warm lift that stops the scent from going flat. Crushed sage at the base — a soft, sophisticated dry-down that anchors the whole thing with subtle warmth. It is the scent found in nearly all OLAPLEX products: clean, fresh, subtly sweet, distinctively salon.
Will the mist weigh down fine hair or leave residue?
No — OLAPLEX specifically formulated the mist to be weightless on both hair and skin. The super-fine mist format disperses evenly without depositing product on the surface. Hold 6–8 inches away and let it dry down naturally without touching — that is the technique that ensures zero residue or flatness.
Can I use this on colour-treated hair?
Yes — the formula is colour-safe, free of sulphates, silicones, parabens, and phthalates. It is also vegan and dermatologist tested. Because it is a fragrance mist rather than a conditioning or styling product, it has no meaningful interaction with colour-treated hair in either direction — it simply adds the scent.
Why is this limited edition and will it come back?
OLAPLEX has launched this as a limited-edition product — availability is not guaranteed beyond current stock.
