Why we like it
The Moda Team Review
If you were sitting in my chair or asking at the boutique, I’d recommend Verso Deep Cleanse No. 1 when a light, lathering BHA cleanser for skin that feels oily, congested or coated but should not be scrubbed raw. If your face feels like there is a film of oil, SPF, makeup or congestion sitting on top, this is the cleanser I’d reach for before telling you to add another treatment. Deep Cleanse No. 1 gives you that deeper, fresher clean without turning your routine into a harsh scrub situation.

What’s inside — and why it’s there
The ingredients worth knowing.
- Verso describes Deep Cleanse as a light, lathering, exfoliating cleanser with salicylic acid/BHA that helps soothe unbalanced skin and leave it ready for the rest of your routine.
How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Massage onto damp skin, avoiding the eye area, then rinse well. Use once daily or a few times a week depending on how oily or sensitive your skin feels.
Moda stylist tipIf your skin is combination, use this where you need it most. You do not have to treat dry cheeks the same way you treat an oily T-zone.

Questions? We get them.
Good to know.
The questions we hear most about this product. If yours isn’t here, a real stylist will answer.
Ask ModaIs Deep Cleanse No. 1 an exfoliating cleanser?
Yes, it uses salicylic acid/BHA, so I’d treat it as more active than a basic gentle cleanser.
Can I use it every day?
If your skin is oily and tolerates it, possibly. If you are dry or sensitive, start a few times a week.
Will it remove makeup?
It can help with daily buildup, but I would still remove heavier makeup first with a balm or micellar step.
Is it good for breakouts?
It makes sense for oily, congested or blemish-prone skin, especially when used without over-stripping.
What should I use after it?
Follow with a hydrating serum or moisturizer so your skin does not feel tight after cleansing.
