Identical formula — same Regenerative Organic Certified Baobab Pulp Extract, same curl-enhancing and frizz-control action. The only difference is size and value per wash. The 1000ml works out to roughly 30% less per wash than the 250ml.
For shoulder-length curly hair using around 15–20ml of shampoo and 25–30ml of conditioner per wash, 1000ml of each gives roughly 40–50 washes. Washing twice a week, that's five to six months per bottle — most curl clients are washing less frequently than straight hair clients, so the litre lasts well.
The shampoo and conditioner are designed for wavy through curly hair — the full Routine 1 spectrum. The Pro Duo is the right size commitment for any curl type that has confirmed LOVE CURL Shampoo and Conditioner is their regular wash system and wants better value per wash.
The pump is strongly recommended. A 1L bottle without a pump is heavy and awkward to tip on a curl wash day, especially when working product through textured hair. The pump also controls portion size, which prevents over-using and helps the litre last its full wash count.
Colour-safe. Colour-treated curly hair tends to be more porous and lose definition and moisture faster after processing — LOVE CURL's Baobab Pulp Extract addresses both. The Pro Duo is particularly well-suited to colour-treated curl clients washing twice a week who want consistent definition between appointments.
