No — it’s a leave-in treatment. Apply before bed, sleep in it, and style as usual in the morning. The whole point is the overnight contact time.
Will Midnight Mender feel greasy on the pillow overnight?
Not if applied correctly — mid-lengths to ends only, a moderate amount, worked in thoroughly. The formula is specifically designed to absorb into the hair shaft rather than sit on the surface. A silk pillowcase is a good addition for protecting hair and pillowcase alike.
How often should I use Midnight Mender?
Yes — nightly for severely compromised hair in an active repair phase. 3–4 times per week for ongoing maintenance. Reduce as the hair improves and you move into maintenance rather than active repair.
Is Midnight Mender better than The Kure Intense Mask for repair?
No — they work at different times. The Intense Mask gives concentrated repair with 10–20 minutes of contact on wash day. Midnight Mender gives continuous overnight repair between washes. Both together give the most total repair contact time.
Can I style as normal the morning after Midnight Mender?
Yes — the formula absorbs overnight without significant residue. Style as normal in the morning. If hair feels slightly coated, mist with water and finger-detangle before styling.
