How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Shake well. Spray 20-30cm from roots in sections. Massage in with fingertips. Wait 30-60 seconds, then brush or finger-style.
Moda stylist tipApply the night before and massage in thoroughly. Higher concentration = higher white cast risk if not fully distributed. Take the extra 30 seconds to work it in properly.

Ask ModaHow do I know if I actually need Ultra, or if Plus would be enough?
Yes — if Plus lasts you a day and Ultra is genuinely needed, you'll know. Start with Plus if you haven't tried it. Ultra is for clients who consistently need to reapply dry shampoo within hours, or who have a visibly oily scalp type regardless of how frequently they wash.
Will Perk Up Ultra leave more residue than the original?
No — technique determines residue, not formula strength. Hold 20–30cm from roots, wait 30–60 seconds before massaging in. On dark hair, spend more time massaging to distribute the starch fully before brushing through.
My scalp is oily but my ends are dry. Is Ultra right for me?
Yes — Ultra on the roots, and apply a small amount of a moisturising product like Soulfood Mask weekly or Water Sign Oil on the ends. Dry shampoo should stay at the roots only. Never apply it along the lengths.
How often should I clarify if I'm using Perk Up Ultra regularly?
Yes — every 2–3 weeks with Reset Clarifying Gel Shampoo. Ultra's higher-concentration formula absorbs more but also leaves more residue at the scalp with regular use. The Reset clarify removes accumulated dry shampoo and sebum that regular washing can't reach.
Can I use Perk Up Ultra on fine hair?
Yes — if your scalp is genuinely oily, Ultra is appropriate even on fine hair. Apply very lightly and massage thoroughly. Fine hair with an oily scalp is a common combination and the oil absorption is the priority — the lift comes naturally as oil is removed.
