How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Apply to wet scalp and massage thoroughly. Leave 2-3 minutes. Rinse. Follow with conditioner on lengths.

Once a month for most hair types. More frequently (every 2-3 weeks) if you use dry shampoo or styling products heavily. Less frequently for colour-treated hair — clarifying can accelerate colour fade if overused.
Is Reset Clarifying Shampoo safe for colour-treated hair?
Yes, with caution. It’s formulated to be colour-safe, but clarifying shampoos are stronger than regular shampoos and can accelerate fade on freshly coloured hair. Wait at least 2 weeks after a colour service before clarifying, and don’t use more than once a month on colour-treated hair.
Will Reset Clarifying Shampoo remove my balayage or colour?
No — it's formulated to be colour-safe, but any clarifying shampoo used more than once a month or on freshly coloured hair can accelerate fade. Wait at least 2 weeks after a colour service and don't exceed once-monthly use on colour-treated hair.
Should I follow Reset Clarifying Shampoo with my regular conditioner?
Yes — always condition after clarifying. The Reset Cooling Conditioner is specifically formulated as the post-clarify conditioning step. Your regular conditioner also works. Don't skip the conditioning step after a clarifying wash.
I use Perk Up dry shampoo almost daily. How often should I use Reset?
Yes — every 2–3 weeks if you're using dry shampoo daily. Heavy dry shampoo use accumulates faster than a monthly clarify can clear. Watch for scalp itchiness or heaviness — that's the signal the buildup needs clearing.
