The lightweight fast-conditioner format is designed to condition without weighing curl pattern down. Apply from mid-lengths to ends only, detangle with a wide-tooth comb while it's still in, then rinse. Fine wavy hair gets the softness and elasticity benefit without the heaviness.
Thirty seconds delivers the core detangling and elasticity result. Extending to 60 seconds deepens the moisture benefit on drier or more porous curl types. It's formulated as a fast conditioner — leaving it longer than two minutes doesn't improve results significantly.
Davines' efficacy testing shows up to 72 hours of anti-frizz and curl definition when using the full Routine 1 (shampoo, conditioner and enhancing milk). The conditioner seals the cuticle and extends the frizz protection the shampoo begins.
The conditioner is Routine 1 — a rinse-out step applied after shampooing, suited to wavy and lighter curl types washing regularly. The Co-Wash is Routine 2 — a low-lather cleansing conditioner that replaces the shampoo entirely, better for thicker, coarser or very curly hair. They serve different curl types within the same family.
Colour-safe and particularly effective for colour-treated curly hair, which tends to be more porous and lose definition faster after processing. The Baobab Pulp Extract locks moisture into the curl shaft regardless of colour treatment history.
