The formula covers the full spectrum from loose waves to tight curls. For wavy hair, it forms the base of Routine 1 (shampoo → conditioner → milk). Results are most pronounced when the complete LOVE CURL routine is matched to the curl type and density.
Regenerative Organic Certified Baobab Pulp Extract is the hero ingredient across the entire LOVE CURL range, sourced from a women's cooperative in Banfora, Burkina Faso. The baobab pulp contains carbohydrates that lock moisture into the curl and antioxidants that protect against the oxidative damage that causes frizz and elasticity loss.
Davines' efficacy testing shows up to 72 hours of anti-frizz and curl definition when using the full LOVE CURL Routine 1 (shampoo, conditioner and enhancing milk). The shampoo starts the process; the conditioner and milk extend and seal it.
The shampoo is Routine 1 — for wavy to curly hair that washes regularly and wants enhanced definition without stripping. The Co-Wash is Routine 2 — for thicker, coarser or very curly hair that needs a gentler, more conditioning cleanse and pairs with the Mask and Cream. Match the routine to your curl density.
